  • Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture when you sign in via Google OAuth or email OTP.
  • Repository data — when you connect a repository or provide a docs URL, we access the documentation content to perform scans. We do not access source code unrelated to documentation.
  • Scan results — findings, reports, and metadata generated from scanning your documentation.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, scan frequency, and performance metrics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the zivodoc service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Scan your documentation and generate findings and fix suggestions
  • Send transactional emails (OTP codes, scan notifications)
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Repository content is processed temporarily during scans and not retained beyond what is needed for scan results.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth — for authentication
  • Amazon Web Services (SES) — for sending transactional emails
  • Cloudflare — for hosting and CDN
  • Anthropic (Claude) — for AI-powered content analysis (documentation content may be sent for analysis)

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, as necessary to operate the service, or when required by law.

6. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. You can delete your account and all associated data from your account settings.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
